Senior🎓
Top SchoolTroels Knak-nielsen is a pragmatic, back-end–leaning full-stack developer with 19 years of experience delivering Ruby on Rails and PHP solutions for both startups and large enterprises from Copenhagen. He currently maintains mission-critical backend systems for Karnov’s Danish and Swedish legal collections and has a track record building publishing workflows, XML toolchains and billing/CRM systems for high-volume customers. Comfortable as an independent contractor or CTO, he blends hands-on coding with product-minded engineering—shipping integrations, crawlers, and complex data-processing pipelines. Notably, he has architected an XML-aware diffing library and steered platform turnarounds and M&A-related transitions, showing an appetite for messy legacy modernization.
