Senior🎓
Top SchoolTruman Purnell is a pragmatic software engineer with a decade of experience building and modernizing full-stack applications, currently contributing at Google from New York. He’s shipped everything from single-page React apps and GraphQL form libraries to cloud migrations and microservice extractions, often simplifying complex systems (e.g., trimming an app from 18K to 5K LOC). As an instructor and teaching fellow he’s trained and mentored thousands of students, bringing strong communication and curriculum design to technical teams. Truman combines hands-on scripting and automation for operational wins with product-focused frontend architecture, and he favors digging into thorny problems rather than papering over them.
