Senior🎓
Top SchoolTurkka Mannila is a seasoned full-stack lead software engineer and partner based in Tampere with 11 years of experience building high-availability web and distributed systems across eCommerce, fintech, healthcare, and measurement domains. He blends hands-on expertise in Clojure, TypeScript/React, Node.js, Python and occasional Go/Kotlin with production-grade tooling—Postgres, ElasticSearch, Kubernetes, AWS and Terraform—to deliver microservices and fast prototypes that match client needs. As a technical leader he has designed architectures, mentored teams, led recruiting, and run DevOps pipelines at companies from startups to consultancy firms, often favoring pragmatic tool selection and minimal-bureaucracy agile delivery. His background includes low-level algorithm work (assignment algorithms, classifiers), mobile and embedded stacks, and past experience in languages like F#, Haskell and Java—evidence of a wide-ranging, language-agnostic problem-solving mindset. Described as an out-of-the-box thinker who “gets the job done,” he combines product-focused prototyping with long-term, maintainable system design.
