Top SchoolTyler Beebe is a versatile Software Engineer II based in New York with a decade of experience building full-stack web applications and improving developer experience. After an unconventional path from actuarial studies to bartending and then App Academy, he has shipped production systems at companies ranging from Spotify and Kickstarter to Meetup and JPMorgan Chase. He helped architect Spotify’s tickets platform and led migrations to Next.js, GraphQL, and TypeScript, while also championing engineering practices like TDD, pair programming, and trunk-based development. Tyler gravitates toward projects that balance product velocity with long-term code health and has a track record of influencing team processes and tooling choices early in a product’s life. He’s comfortable working across legacy and modern stacks and brings the discipline of financial and hospitality roles to collaborative, cross-functional engineering. Outside of work, he’s part of the NYC web developer community and values pragmatic, empathetic engineering decisions.
