Summary
👤
SeniorTyler Mikev is a multidisciplinary engineer with 11 years of experience who focuses on delivering measurable value rather than surface-level features, now applying that mindset as a DeFi Trading Engineer in Chicago. His background spans mobile and backend engineering, machine learning experimentation, and technical leadership at firms including AWS, Cisco, and Galaxy, giving him fluency across Swift, Kotlin/Spring Boot, Python, and cloud platforms. He has repeatedly owned full SDLC responsibilities—from iOS apps to microservices—and mentored engineers while fostering org-wide learning through initiatives like book clubs. Early research work in particle physics and contributions to product analytics inform a data-driven approach to trading systems and platform design. Notably, he transitions fluidly between hands-on implementation and strategic architecture, pairing startup agility with enterprise-grade delivery.
