Senior🎓
Top SchoolUgur Guney is a software engineer with 12 years of experience who builds graphics and AR/VR rendering systems at Meta’s FRL Horizon Rendering Team for Horizon Worlds. With a PhD in theoretical and mathematical physics, he combines deep physics and mathematical rigor with practical software engineering to deliver real-time rendering, modeling capabilities, and 3D editor tooling. He has a strong track record across data and infrastructure roles at Instagram and Facebook, where he designed a logging DSL and led migrations that improved reliability at massive scale. Past work in signal processing, embedded FPGA design, and algorithm development for driving-sensor analytics gives him a rare cross-disciplinary fluency between low-level systems, ML, and interactive graphics. Colocated in New York, he is equally comfortable prototyping research-grade ideas and shipping production-quality engine features.
