Senior🎓
Top SchoolUros Orozel is a Principal Engineer DevOps based in Sydney with over a decade of hands-on experience architecting and automating large-scale OpenStack and hybrid cloud platforms. He combines deep Linux systems expertise (RHEL, SLES, Ubuntu) with advanced configuration management and orchestration skills across Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack and Heat, and has implemented storage and clustering solutions including Ceph, GlusterFS and Veritas. At Rackspace and IBM he led OpenStack and cloud automation initiatives, developing Chef cookbooks, Heat templates and cross-cloud integrations for VMware, AWS and SoftLayer. A certified RHCE and multiple Novell certifications holder, he brings rare depth in traditional datacenter services (LDAP, NFS, multipath, SAN) alongside modern network virtualization (VMware NSX). Colleagues rely on him for both architecture and gritty automation—he’s as comfortable writing advanced Bash/Python tooling as he is designing fault-tolerant production platforms.
