Top SchoolVaidas Kascėnas is a Senior System Administrator with 11 years of hands-on experience building and operating Linux-first infrastructure across VPN, cloud and enterprise environments. He currently manages global Linux VPN infrastructure at Surfshark, driving automation, refactoring, diskless boot/configuration work and cross-team incident investigations. Previously he enabled GitOps, CI/CD and automated AWS provisioning at Telia and kept legacy Chef and discontinued Linux distributions running at Wix, showing a talent for pragmatic engineering trade-offs. Comfortable from low-level server administration to cloud architecture, he has a history of designing robust automation for OpenShift, ECS and tracing systems in large organizations. A self-described "Linux nerd," Vaidas pairs deep troubleshooting instincts with a knack for documenting complex systems and mentoring more junior operators.
