Senior🎓
Top SchoolVaishvik Maisuria is a Software Engineer with 8 years of experience building cross-platform payment and web applications, currently developing and managing Moneris’s React Native payment app for Pax and Ingenico terminals. He combines a strong backend skillset (SQL, Java, Gosu, PHP) with front-end expertise (React, React Native, TypeScript) and a history of performance optimizations—such as shaving 10 seconds off app startup and reducing onboarding time by documenting team resources. At EY he delivered data-fixing SQL solutions and redesigned systems to cut unnecessary database writes, and he has mitigated security incidents like the Spring4Shell vulnerability. His academic work at University of Toronto spanned production-ready research: containerized microservices, authentication with Passport.js and Shibboleth, and ML-backed chatbot research that resulted in a publication. An effective communicator and mentor, he has multiple TA roles teaching core CS concepts to large classes and served as an Agile Champion to drive team practices. He brings a pragmatic, product-minded approach to shipping secure, maintainable software across payment terminals and enterprise systems.
