Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolValentin Lefebvre is an Embedded Linux engineer with six years’ experience building and packaging system software for embedded distributions, currently working on SUSE’s boot & init stack. Trained at ENSICAEN in electronics and microelectronics, he writes robust C/C++ and shell code, architects clean APIs and contributes to open-source projects across embedded and distribution layers. At IoT.bzh he led development of libraries and packaged RedPesk backend services, learning Go and the Buffalo framework to bridge embedded and backend concerns. He pairs low-level kernel/driver work (one-wire/Zephyr on STM32) with higher-level system design, CI-friendly build systems (CMake, Makefiles) and reproducible packaging. Outside work he runs homelab projects—self-hosted cloud, mail and home automation—demonstrating a pragmatic focus on maintainability and operational tooling. Based in Lorient, France, he brings a blend of systems depth and full-stack curiosity that surfaces in both production code and personal infrastructure.
