Valeria Shekhurdina
Marketing Consultant at Freelance
Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Summary
👤
SeniorValeria Shekhurdina is a marketing consultant and indie gamedev leader with eight years of experience blending data-driven strategy, product thinking, and creative execution. Based in Phnom Penh, she has grown user acquisition and brand awareness across mobile and PC games, B2B platforms, and personal brands, often cutting CAC and boosting reach through targeted testing and analytics. As a former CEO and cofounder of an indie studio she led market analysis, branding, pitch preparation and early fundraising for a retro vampire shooter, while also shipping hundreds of marketing assets. She translates complex product and market signals into understandable roadmaps for stakeholders and favors ethical, inclusive promotion. Her background as a C# and Python game developer gives her hands-on empathy for developers and a practical edge in game marketing. Known for turning qualitative user research into quantifiable growth, she pairs scrappy engineering solutions (like registration bots that scaled events) with rigorously tested go-to-market playbooks.
