Top SchoolVanius Bittencourt is a Lead Software Engineer from Rio Grande do Sul with over two decades of hands-on experience and 11 years in senior roles, blending deep backend expertise with infrastructure and DevOps leadership. Java-certified and experienced in architecting enterprise systems, he has driven CI/CD initiatives, automated VMware and server workflows, and coordinated DevOps teams to measurable productivity gains. Recently he has embraced Rust and modern web tooling—building tokio/axum web APIs, sqlx-backed services, wasm frontends with Yew, CLI tools and gRPC servers—while still maintaining a strong Java architecture background. He played a key role in scaling agile practices across an 80-developer organization and is known for contributing creative, practical ideas in critical design discussions. Pragmatic and hands-on, he moves between low-level integrations (JNI, Cobol interop) and cloud-native automation, making him effective at turning legacy constraints into modern, maintainable solutions.
