🤩
RockstarVanna Dicatania is a Lead Principal Software Engineer with two decades of hands-on experience designing and shipping scalable web applications, currently leading engineering at a confidential iGaming and crypto casino. She combines deep Node.js and object-oriented design expertise with a strong background in architecture, SRE, and developer experience—having built centralized integration environments, auto-scaling CI runners, and performance-optimized rendering pipelines. Vanna has repeatedly moved between hands-on engineering and leadership roles, from founding a game-services platform to shaping enterprise search and SRE practices at Jimdo and WebMD, showing a rare blend of product intuition and infrastructure rigor. She is passionate about automation, quality, and efficiency, and often drives pragmatic tooling and process improvements that reduce build times and regressions. An active back-end contributor to open projects (including local Tuya Homebridge integration work), she pairs production debugging chops with thoughtful design for resilience and security. Based in Maine, she brings a track record of turning complex integrations into maintainable, auditable systems while continuing to ship code.
