Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolVarun Jain is a serial founder and software engineer with nine years of experience building production-grade AI systems and developer-focused infrastructure from the Bay Area. He co-founded multiple startups (including YC W22 alumni) that applied state-of-the-art generative and vision models to advertising, enterprise AI, and cloud security, and now leads a stealth AI-for-enterprises startup. His background spans hands-on ML engineering—training video generation and ranking models, building data pipelines, and implementing deep learning inference tooling—to low-level systems work such as integrating ONNX with TensorFlow XLA. Varun pairs rapid product iteration with rigorous engineering: he’s shipped scalable search and perception systems used in real products and led open-source–driven cloud security work. Trained at Harvard (BA/MS CS), he combines academic grounding with a founder’s appetite for tackling messy, real-world AI problems.
