Top SchoolVassiliy Kuzenkov is a pragmatic engineering leader with 10 years' experience building full‑stack and backend systems, now serving as Head of Department in the iGaming space. He combines deep frontend roots in React and Vue with hands‑on backend expertise—designing REST and GraphQL APIs, real‑time services and high‑throughput trading infra in Node.js, Rust, Go and Clojure. His projects span chats and game servers to DEX platforms handling tens of thousands of requests per second, and he’s optimised systems using MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch and Redis. As a manager he champions well‑tested code, rigorous reviews and healthy team culture, and has led departmental strategy, regional operations and TypeScript adoption in million‑line codebases. He also ships diverse tooling—from Electron desktop apps and Telegram trading bots to central auth services—bringing a practical systems mindset to product problems. Based in Almaty, he pairs academic grounding in computer engineering with language studies in Chinese, an unusual combo that aids cross‑regional collaboration.
