Top SchoolVeronica L is a Distributed DB Infrastructure Engineer with 11 years of experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems at the intersection of databases, security, and Kubernetes. She has driven release and e2e efforts as Technical Lead for Kubernetes SIG Release and led reliability and supply-chain security initiatives at PlanetScale, improving release velocity and lowering costs. At AuthZed she maintained cloud Terraform providers and Kubernetes operators, and now contributes to Multigres—bringing Vitess-like patterns to Postgres—at Supabase. Her strengths lie in data and control plane design rather than traditional DevOps, pairing deep systems thinking with hands-on engineering in Go and Kubernetes. A recipient of the 2022 Kubernetes Contributor Award, she mentors cross-functional teams and builds tooling that keeps complex projects shipping on time. Outside work she pursues mathematics, quantum computing and yoga, reflecting a curiosity that informs her approach to elegant, secure infrastructure.
