Summary
👤
SeniorVictor Chiriac is an AWS Cloud Engineer with 11 years of hands-on experience evolving from PHP backend developer to DevOps specialist, now focused on IaC, automation and resilient cloud architectures. He has designed and operated CI/CD pipelines, containerized microservices on ECS (EC2 and Fargate), and event-driven systems using Lambda, SNS, EventBridge and SQS while consistently optimizing cost and security. Victor is fluent in CloudFormation, AWS CDK v2 and Terraform, and has improved production reliability with monitoring, ALB/NLB tuning, RDS Multi-AZ setups and WAF protections. A self-taught developer who still codes in PHP, Go and Node.js, he bridges developer and operations teams—mentoring juniors and translating legacy monoliths into maintainable microservices. Based in Bucharest, he combines practical engineering with a background in design and production management, which gives him a pragmatic, user-focused approach to cloud infrastructure.
