Top SchoolVictor Flo is a bio-systems engineer and data-savvy plant ecophysiologist with 11 years of interdisciplinary experience spanning ecological, forestry and agricultural research. He holds a PhD in Ecology (cum laude) and has applied land-surface water and carbon modelling, big-data management and R-based data science across research posts at CREAF, Imperial College London and UAB. As an MSCA-SO2 researcher he combines field ecophysiology expertise with reproducible analytics and visualization to connect plant-scale processes to landscape carbon and water fluxes. Beyond academia he has led product-focused data projects—including recommender systems and app development—demonstrating an unusual blend of ecological modelling, software tooling and project delivery. Based in Barcelona, he is an active member of EMF-CREAF and Sapfluxnet and brings both hands-on field experience and advanced quantitative skills to climate-change and ecosystem research.
