Top SchoolVíctor Gil is a CTO and software engineer with 11 years of hands-on experience building Android apps and backend microservices, currently leading healthcare-focused products that combine personalized recommendations with secure, auditable infrastructure. He blends deep Android expertise (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose) and build automation with backend skills in Spring, Flyway/Liquibase, and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm) to ship maintainable systems without over-engineering. At Significo he architected multi-service integrations—including a recommendation engine, Directus CMS, Zitadel auth, and data pipelines with Airbyte/dbt—while owning CI/CD, monitoring, and SOC2/ISO-aligned practices. A pragmatic engineer and people leader, he modernizes legacy systems, creates Android open-source libraries, and runs end-to-end delivery processes that balance test coverage and development speed. His unusually broad academic background in anthropology, psychology and communications informs a user-centered approach to product and team decisions.
