Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolVictor Ocampo is a software engineer with eight years of hands-on experience building backend systems, ML-driven tooling, and automation workflows, currently developing ML systems and LLM-based automations at PROPS in Espoo. He combines practical startup grit—co-founding Sunny Harbor (now SCENE) and serving as a founding engineer at a fintech AI plugin—with solid backend chops in Go, C/C++ and experience across Flutter and React frontends. While studying Industrial Engineering and Management at Aalto with a math minor, he has repeatedly shipped production software from teenage projects to commercial SaaS and defense virtual training environments. Victor has a habit of turning small, scrappy teams into revenue-generating products and is comfortable taking ideas from prototypes (including RAG/embeddings and Office.js integrations) to deployed systems. Notably, he served as senior conscript developer for virtual training at the Finnish Defence Forces, blending disciplined systems engineering with fast-moving startup practice.
