Top SchoolVictor Perez is a Senior Data Engineer with 11 years of experience who combines a MSc in Data Science & Analytics with hands-on delivery of ETL pipelines, statistical modelling, and data platform migrations. He has driven cost and performance improvements—migrating pipelines to dbt on Databricks and cutting analytics costs by ~30%—and automated marketing activations via Python APIs. His background spans public statistics, cognitive research, and product analytics, giving him a strong mix of rigorous quantitative methods and pragmatic engineering. Now at Capgemini after a CTO-affiliated stint in Mexico, he blends startup agility with enterprise-grade data engineering and a psychology-informed view of user data. Not obvious from the title: he started in neuroscience and behavioral research, which informs how he designs metrics and scores for user-facing analytics.
