Top SchoolVignesh Kumaresan is an AI Lead in San Francisco with eight years of experience building production AI systems that augment human decision-making in high-stakes healthcare domains. As a founding team AI lead at Sonar after multi-year stints at Verily and IBM Watson Health, he blends clinical data fluency with pragmatic ML engineering to deploy models that inform care and population health. His background in economics and psychology (Univ. of Miami) combined with a Duke MIDS master’s gives him a rare mix of quantitative rigor and behavioral insight for designing human-centered AI. He has hands-on experience with claims, EHR, and social determinant data to drive predictive risk modeling and actionable analytics. Colleagues describe him as someone who translates complex health data into operational tools—often surfacing non-obvious signals from noisy, multi-source datasets. Based in the Bay Area, he brings startup grit and enterprise experience to move research-grade models into reliable production.
