Top SchoolVilma Medrano is a Technical Support Engineer with seven years of experience bridging life sciences rigor and cloud observability, now supporting customers at Postman after a multi-role tenure at Datadog. Trained as a molecular biologist and later as a full-stack developer through Hackbright Academy, she excels at root-cause troubleshooting—digging into logs, APIs, containers, and edge cases—and translating complex technical detail for audiences from engineers to executives. She’s solved hundreds of high-priority incidents and managed concurrent trials and escalations while mentoring new team members and feeding product feedback into roadmaps. Comfortable working bilingually in English and Spanish, Vilma pairs a scientist’s methodical validation mindset with an educator’s gift for making systems understandable and actionable. Outside of tech she applies the same experimental curiosity to sourdough, soil health, and small-business operations, reflecting a pragmatic, customer-centered approach to problem solving.
