Top SchoolVimal Desai is a Senior Full Stack Engineer with 9+ years of experience building scalable, high-performance web applications and microservices, currently shaping features and shared components for UpKeep’s enterprise asset management platform. He spans frontend to backend—React/Next.js and TypeScript on the client, Node/NestJS and Kafka/RabbitMQ on the server—while treating testing (Cypress, Jest, k6) as a first-class engineering discipline to enable confident, zero-downtime releases. Known for end-to-end ownership, Vimal briefly served as Release Engineer leading platform-wide deployments and was recognized as "Leader of the Month" for cross-functional impact. He leverages AI-augmented workflows to significantly boost delivery velocity (doubling sprint points) and placed in an internal AI Hackathon for a POC that improved data consistency at scale. Earlier roles include scaling frontend architecture at Emtec and growing from fresher to Technical Lead at Knovator, where he shipped 50+ projects and launched a microservice that became a standalone product. Based in Surat, India, he combines hands-on delivery, hiring and mentoring experience, and a pragmatic focus on long-term reliability.
