Summary
👤
SeniorVince Allen is a seasoned software engineering manager with 12 years of experience building consumer-facing products and creative tools, currently leading teams at Spotify’s Artist-First AI Lab in New York. He has a proven track record shipping cross-platform applications—desktop, mobile, and web—across social, radio, discovery and artist-facing workflows that reach millions of users. Earlier roles ranged from rebuilding Lot18’s front end with mobile-first techniques that materially increased mobile revenue to running a boutique studio delivering CMS and PHP/JS solutions for entertainment brands. Vince blends hands-on front-end engineering (custom JavaScript frameworks, responsive design) with people leadership, recruiting, and cross-discipline collaboration with designers and PMs. He’s comfortable operating at the intersection of product and platform, translating complex music delivery systems into delightful user experiences. His background in creative direction and large-scale media projects gives him an uncommon sensitivity to design and content strategy in engineering decisions.
