Top SchoolVincent Brouté is a senior backend software developer based in Paris with 13 years of experience building high-traffic, data-driven web platforms and microservices. He has designed and operated large-scale systems—from an Open Data processing platform that powered 300M page views to a Scala microservice handling 25M daily algorithmic requests for matchmaking at Meetic. Comfortable across PHP/Symfony and modern JVM stacks, his toolkit includes Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines. He blends backend engineering with data-focused work (opendata, statistical learning and visualization), regularly collaborating with data engineers and scientists to turn algorithms into production services. Known for leading small teams to deliver resilient APIs and services under heavy load, he also brings a pragmatic history of freelance and agency work that sharpened his production-first mindset. Fluent in scaling both infrastructure and data workflows, he enjoys turning messy public data into reliable, user-facing features.
