Top SchoolVincent Villafuerte is a versatile software practitioner and community builder with five years of experience blending freelance development, developer relations, and web3 entrepreneurship. As a former GitHub Field Expert and Open Source Advocate, he organizes GitHub Field Day and regularly supports tech events across the Philippines and internationally, fostering collaboration and developer growth. He co-founded WebX DAO to explore web3/web5, metaverse, and DeFi use cases, and advises clients across Japan, the US, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Hungary to improve products and engagement. Equally comfortable in hands-on engineering and community strategy, he often bridges open-source practices with on-chain innovation—his tagline, “Code went from 'open' to 'on-chain',” reflects that practical shift.
