Top SchoolVinícius Da Silva is a researcher with 11 years of experience focused on real-time computer graphics, machine learning, games, and virtual reality, currently working in the R&D group led by Alberto Raposo at Tecgraf / PUC-Rio. He has a strong academic trajectory with postdoctoral stints at PUC-Rio and IMPA and a D.Sc. and M.Sc. in Computer Graphics from UFRJ, where his doctoral work emphasized point cloud rendering. His recent work concentrates on neural representations for real-time graphics, particularly neural implicit representations that bridge ML advances and interactive rendering. Early industry experience as a game developer and systems analyst gives him practical software engineering chops across Unity, C#, Java and cloud platforms. He has taught advanced geometry visualization and short courses in machine learning, signaling an ability to communicate complex ideas to both academic and industry audiences. Based in Greater Rio de Janeiro, he combines deep theoretical grounding with hands-on prototyping to push neural methods toward real-time deployment.
