Top SchoolVinicius Esperança is a software engineer and university professor with 11 years of experience building cloud-native, high-availability systems and leading backend teams across startups and enterprise environments in São Paulo. He combines academic rigor—as a PhD candidate and master's alumnus from UFSCar—with hands-on delivery of streaming and microservices platforms using Java, Golang, Apache Beam, RabbitMQ, and AWS. Vinicius has designed production financial and data pipelines that served hundreds of thousands of customers, introduced DevOps/SRE practices to improve reliability, and led cross-functional product discussions to align technical work with business outcomes. As a founder and early-stage startup engineering lead, he brings entrepreneurial instincts and a pragmatic approach to shipping products, while balancing research, teaching, and training responsibilities. Outside work he’s a triathlete, a detail that mirrors his disciplined, performance-oriented approach to engineering and team leadership.
