Senior🎓
Top SchoolVishal Vijay is a software engineer with 13 years of experience building scalable web and backend systems, currently working on WhatsApp at Meta from London. He has co-founded and led engineering at startups like FareFirst and played senior technical roles at high-growth firms such as Khatabook and NestAway, owning full-stack delivery for commerce and tenant-facing products. Vishal moves fluidly between backend, frontend, and DevOps—shipping microservices, serverless platforms, and React/Next.js frontends while leading web engineering teams. He has a track record of building automation systems (rule engines, billing and dispute systems), open-sourcing internal tools, and driving internationalized products used by millions. Known for pragmatic architecture choices across AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, and distributed data stores, he balances product-minded engineering with operational cost-awareness. Off the clock, his GitHub quip “No Coffee? No worries... I can still code” hints at a lighthearted resilience that complements his steady delivery under pressure.
