Top SchoolViswajith G is an embedded software engineer and PhD student in Computer Engineering at UVA with about four years of industry and research experience focused on IoT, LPWAN, and smart ecosystems. He has led end-to-end development of low-power LoRa modules and integrations—reducing form factor, cost, and power consumption—and built companion mobile and cross-platform configuration tools. At UVA he combines teaching and research on networks and decarbonization, developing tools to monitor HVAC systems and producing energy-audit roadmaps for campus buildings. His background spans hands-on QA and network setup to authoring technical documentation and product manuals, and he brings a unique blend of environmental sustainability goals and embedded systems expertise. An early-career citizen scientist, he also contributed to radio-astronomy research through RAD@home, co-authoring conference posters on galaxy studies.
