Senior🎓
Top SchoolVitalii Lebediev is a cloud-native software engineer with 13 years of hands-on experience and over a decade leading teams to build scalable, high-load systems using Java, TypeScript, Node.js and PHP. He has a strong track record designing microservices, Kafka-based streaming infrastructure, and resilient REST and GraphQL APIs that enabled new product capabilities and billing workflows at scale. At Leia he bridged engineering and product by reimagining API design, spearheading cloud migrations, and orchestrating cross-team delivery processes; he now continues this work at DoorDash from Sunnyvale. Comfortable across the stack, Vitalii pairs pragmatic architecture with day-to-day feature work and pull-request stewardship, accelerating releases through improved CI/CD and deployment patterns. His background in hydrology adds an analytical, systems-thinking angle to solving complex distributed systems problems.
