Top SchoolVitor Cavalcanti is a Senior Backend Engineer based in Berlin with 11 years of experience building scalable, resilient distributed systems across logistics, remote work platforms, and consultancy engagements. He blends practical expertise in Elixir, Ruby, Postgres, Kubernetes and AWS with a history of leadership—mentoring engineers, defining architectures, and promoting test-driven development. Vitor has shipped production services for global teams at Delivery Hero and ThoughtWorks and now helps enable remote-first work that preserves labor rights using an async, customer-focused stack. Passionate about social impact, he consistently chooses the right tools for the job and brings a pragmatic, polyglot approach informed by both startup and enterprise environments. A former mobile and full-stack developer, he still carries a builder’s curiosity—“not all those who wander are lost”—into solving complex backend challenges.
