Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolVolkan Özçelik is a Principal Kubernetes Software Engineer with 14+ years building high-performance, secure cloud-native systems for telco and enterprise at Broadcom/VMware and Cisco. He architects resilient Kubernetes control planes, secrets and identity tooling (creator of VMware Secrets Manager), and has led large migrations and security hardening efforts across fleet-scale platforms. A performance-obsessed polyglot, Volkan blends low-level engineering (Go, C++, Erlang/Haskell experiments) with pragmatic operator-style automation and policy-driven security (SPIFFE chair). He holds a patent for infinitely scrolling massive datasets and frequently evangelizes at conferences and in the cloud-native community. Based in Mountain View, he’s known for spotting five-year trends early and turning ambitious visions into maintainable, production-grade reality.
