Senior🎓
Top SchoolVolkan Yavuz is a Director of Engineering with 13 years of hands-on experience designing and operating cloud-native, high-availability systems for consumer and enterprise platforms. He combines deep backend expertise (PHP/Laravel, Node.js) with modern frontend frameworks (Vue/React) and a strong DevOps muscleset on AWS, Docker and CI/CD to consistently deliver scalable products and 99%+ uptime. Volkan has led distributed teams to productionize LLM-driven features and unified APIs, reducing redundancy across multiple mobile apps while driving performance and SEO improvements at scale. He’s equally comfortable diving into low-level performance tuning (Redis, Varnish, Elasticsearch) and architecting serverless, vector-search–backed AI integrations using Pinecone and OpenAI. Based in Los Angeles, he pairs an engineer’s attention to clean code with a product-minded focus on measurable impact and faster delivery.
