Top SchoolWentao Yang is a Senior Software Engineer based in Mountain View with a long track record of designing and shipping backend systems across startup and enterprise environments. He specializes in Java/Kotlin microservices, event-driven architectures, and full-stack features—recently building a customer portal, platform APIs, and scalable order workflows using Spring Boot, gRPC, GraphQL, and AWS. His experience spans storage and search technologies (Postgres, Elasticsearch), containerized deployments, and migrations from MongoDB to RDS, reflecting strong system- and data-migration skills. He has led cross-functional and distributed teams, owned customer-facing incident resolution, and helped integrate third-party products into inventory and reservation systems. Notably, his career traces from low-level server tooling and logical domain virtualization at Sun/Oracle to modern cloud-native SaaS, giving him rare fluency across decades of infrastructure evolution.
