Senior🎓
Top SchoolXiaoliang Z is a seasoned network engineer with over 20 years in telecom and more than three decades of programming experience, now based in McLean, VA and currently working at Amazon. His career bridges deep operational roles—capacity planning, backbone design, and global network operations—with hands-on automation and software development in Python, C/C++, Perl, and more. He has led R&D and startup efforts (co-founding Senge Computing) to build RDMA-linked all-RAM systems and an "ipmem" memory-externalization technology that earned two US patents. At companies from Juniper and Verizon to Meta and Verisign he translated research-grade routing expertise into production improvements like RPKI adoption and large-scale capacity planning. Comfortable at the intersection of research and production, he pairs a Ph.D.-level background in Internet routing with practical automation that repeatedly saved engineering time and operational cost.
