Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolXin Lai is a front-end software engineer with 8 years of experience building production ML infrastructure and customer-facing web apps, currently engineering recommendation systems at LinkedIn in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has a strong React, HTML/CSS, and responsive design background from prior roles where he owned product lifecycle work—from UX wireframes to user testing and implementation. At SynapseFI he shipped high-impact card processing and credit UIs used by many startups, demonstrating an ability to translate complex flows into polished, usable interfaces. Xin pairs practical engineering with curiosity about AI: his GitHub and social presence signal an ambition to “rewrite the Earth as AI agents,” and he contributes open-source projects in his spare time. With a Master’s in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh and a history of finding subtle UX improvements others miss, he blends production rigor with a creative, systems-thinking approach.
