Senior🎓
Top SchoolXin Zhang is a founder and seasoned software leader based in Shanghai with 13 years in software development and a decade-plus of hands-on experience in web and data systems. After engineering roles at Tencent and Meituan where he led mobile and web teams, he founded social media research lab 极乐实验室, blending technical R&D with social data analysis. He excels at building data platforms and managing engineering teams to turn large-scale social media datasets into actionable insights. Trained in electrical and electronics engineering, he pairs a systems mindset with product-focused execution and a habit of sharing ideas publicly via a popular Zhihu column and WeChat presence. An unexpected detail: he balances rigorous engineering with a playful philosophy—“Life is short, play more”—which informs a pragmatic, user-centered approach to research and tooling.
