Top SchoolXindi Xu is a Senior Software Engineer based in California with nine years of experience building full-stack applications and diving into systems and cloud. She has a strong track record shipping polished, performant UIs and backend services—from single-page React apps and real-time collaborative editors to debugging and admin tooling for on-prem deployments. At Instabase she progressed from intern to senior engineer, designing cross-cutting components and developer tooling, and at Columbia she taught distributed systems while automating grading and anti-cheat checks. Xindi pairs product-focused prototyping with rigorous engineering practices (tests, accessibility, lint migrations) and has led small teams and mentored interns to cut development time and reduce production failures. She combines an MS in Computer Science with hands-on experience across React, Go, Python, Ruby on Rails, and cloud patterns, and brings a practical knack for turning complex interaction requirements into maintainable systems.
