Top SchoolYago Carrillo is a scientific project manager and doctoral researcher with eight years of experience at the intersection of robotics, networking, and applied research. He has led and contributed to projects at IMDEA Networks, MIT Media Lab, and European research centers, combining hands-on development (ROS, SLAM, HMI, swarm simulation) with program-level coordination in cyber-defence and R&D settings. Academically strong across telematics, industrial and mechanical engineering, he brings rigorous quantitative skills and a track record of translating lab prototypes into field-oriented systems. Now working with armasuisse W+T and the Cyber‑Defence Campus, he bridges academic insight and operational requirements for secure autonomous and networked systems. Notably, his background spans both mechanical design and advanced software for autonomy—a blend that helps him anticipate integration challenges early in multidisciplinary projects.
