Senior🎓
Top SchoolYang Su is a Senior Staff Data Scientist in San Francisco with a PhD in Economics and nine years of experience building production ML systems and causal, lifecycle portfolio models. She has led experimentation and real-time model serving for major Tencent titles like Apex Legends Mobile and Honor of Kings, and previously matched agents and customers at scale to optimize revenue and churn. Her academic work blends advanced econometrics, dynamic discrete choice, and Monte Carlo policy simulation—skills she has used to speed complex life-cycle model solves by 80% via parallel computing and AWS. Comfortable at the intersection of rigorous causal inference and pragmatic engineering, she surfaces insights when conventional A/B testing fails, particularly in networked environments. Outside work she balances quantitative focus with live music and yoga, and expresses a reflective cultural voice on GitHub: 子非鱼，安知鱼之乐.
