Yannick Tivisse is a Senior Software Engineer and team lead at Odoo with 11 years of experience, blending product ownership, usability design, and backend development across ERP modules. He began as a product owner focused on simplifying business flows and onboarding, then transitioned to full-time development where he led major migrations, integrations (e.g., TaxCloud), and refactors across HR, expense, payroll and fleet features. Now he runs two teams that onboard and train new developers and drive continuous improvements for HR applications, pairing hands-on coding with mentorship. An applied mathematics master from Université catholique de Louvain, he contributes to core Odoo repositories and documentation—improving performance and clarity in fleet, HR and accounting areas—demonstrating both technical depth and a knack for making complex systems more usable.
