Top SchoolYathartha Goenka is a platform-focused software engineer with 5 years of experience building developer-facing infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability at Mercari in Tokyo. He has shipped company-wide systems that process 1M+ daily events for real-time DORA metrics, designed Platform APIs integrating CLI/IDE tooling with Argo Workflows and Kubernetes, and implemented a PKCE-capable OAuth 2.1 GitHub auth server to enable secure MCP integrations. His work reduced observability costs by roughly $3K/month through standardization across 18K+ workflows and log-pipeline optimizations, showing a pragmatic eye for both scalability and cost efficiency. Comfortable across Go, cloud-native stacks, and production monitoring, he pairs hands-on implementation with documentation and on-call responsibilities.
