Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolYeongpyo Ku is a frontend developer with 12 years of engineering experience and three years focused intensively on modern web and hybrid app frontends, currently building at Viva Republica (Toss). He specializes in optimizing large-scale applications—cutting bundle sizes by up to 50%, improving Web Vitals, and boosting deployment and runtime performance through CI/CD and infrastructure work. Yeongpyo has led major refactors and established design systems, test coverage, monitoring, and developer tooling (CLI, TypeScript generators, reusable workflows) that materially increased team productivity. He blends hands-on frontend craft with backend and ops skills—migrating clouds, setting up ArgoCD and self-hosted runners, and running both on-premise and cloud environments. Known for turning outsourced, hard-to-maintain codebases into stable, testable platforms, he also builds small yet impactful services in Rust and Go to solve integration and delivery problems. Based in Seoul, he pairs a practical, metrics-driven mindset with a readiness to learn new tech to solve thorny production issues.
