Yevgeniy Gorbachev
Summary
👤
SeniorYevgeniy Gorbachev is an associate systems engineer specializing in hypersonic vehicle electromechanical actuators, blending eight years of multidisciplinary engineering experience across aerospace and defense. At Moog Space and Defense he develops high-fidelity simulations, correlates models to test data, and shapes control laws to meet stringent frequency-response and energy requirements despite nonlinear dynamics. His background includes internships at Raytheon, Collins Aerospace, and bio-automation work, reflecting a rare mix of aerospace systems thinking and hands-on automation. Academically he holds both a BEng and MEng in Mechanical Engineering from RIT with top-tier GPAs, underscoring strong analytical and modeling skills. Colleagues describe him as curious and methodical — “three engineering majors in a trench coat” hints at an unconventional breadth that helps him bridge controls, simulation, and systems integration. He is based in the Buffalo–Niagara Falls area and brings pragmatic rigor to mission-critical design decisions.
