Top SchoolYiwei Guo is a DevOps/SRE with 10 years of experience building and operating cloud-native infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure, currently on the SRE team at Apple in San Jose. He led cloud engineering and DevOps at Stanford, driving GitOps adoption, automations that turned multi-minute workflows into Slack-driven chat-ops, and compliant solutions for FERPA/HIPAA environments. Earlier work includes architecting DBaaS patterns and marketplace offerings at Aerospike and hands-on systems and network administration in mixed OS environments. Yiwei combines practical automation and cost-conscious design—choosing simpler authnz or resource-efficient k8s sidecar patterns when they outperform orthodox approaches. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science and an M.S. in Software Engineering and brings a consultative, cross-organizational style that reduces friction between teams while improving reliability.
