Senior🎓
Top SchoolYoann Kubera is a versatile research engineer with 12+ years of experience blending software engineering, AI research and systems administration in an academic lab setting. A PhD specialist in multi-agent simulation, he designed and implemented simulation engines, an IDE and the JAM-FREE traffic simulator, and refined a multi-level meta-model (SIMILAR) used in published research. He combines full-stack Java/Node.js/Bash development, CI/CD and server configuration with hands-on maintenance of a compute cluster, institutional web services and the lab’s IT park. Regularly training colleagues and producing reusable libraries and tooling, he excels at turning formal models into documented, production-ready software. Unusually for an engineer in research, he also leads lab communication design and safety responsibilities, showing a practical bent for both technical and organizational stewardship.
