Top SchoolYong Qian is a logistics analyst with 8 years of experience in inventory control and process improvement, based in Sunnyvale, California. At Fortinet he redesigned the physical inventory process end-to-end, automated data intake and root-cause analytics with custom VBA tooling, and reduced incorrect PI counts to under one-tenth of the prior rate—work that earned recognition from the CFO. He manages serial tracking for over 100,000 units, reconciles Oracle and physical flows, and drove priority-order assignments that improved profitability in 2021. Comfortable learning new enterprise systems early, he was among the first users to adopt Oracle at Fortinet and SAP at 99 Ranch Market, submitting enhancement requests that boosted usability and accuracy. Trained in economics and management, he blends analytical rigor with hands-on software scripting (Java and VBA) to turn operations data into actionable insights.
