Top SchoolYoon Jeong is a research engineer with 9 years of experience focused on improving web search and ranking systems at NAVER Corp in Seoul. They design and operate large-scale data pipelines, from web data mining and pattern analysis to training-data generation and automated error-detection systems that directly improve search relevance. Yoon has hands-on expertise with Python, Hadoop, Spark and pattern mining, and has built production workflows for feature extraction, model training, and quality monitoring. Earlier work includes academic research and teaching support—placing in ACM RecSys Challenge 2018 and running ML and NLP projects as a TA—bringing a blend of research rigor and practical engineering. Colleagues value that Yoon pairs deep data-driven analysis (e.g., anchor-pattern discovery) with pragmatic automation to turn noisy web signals into reliable training labels.
